It took him long enough, but Bal is now a fan of the TV series, House. Why? Apparently he just started watching it, having gleaned it off a certain person who had all three seasons. Odd how he happens to be really slow at his pickup of TV series in contrast to how quick he is to snap up and rate movies. The fact that he was until a week ago the only future medic who didn't watch House is also one that should be mentioned.
He has yet to touch Grey's Anatomy. He's not even sure if it's supposed to be 'Gray's. (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
Having only survived off E.R. as a medical drama for the past few years, he had this to say about House.
"The mean, evil, people-hating doctor thing was supposed to be my thing!"
Until he can prove that he had that kind of attitude planned up since before watching House, he will forever be deemed as a 'cheap, House rip-off' when (or well, IF) he ever becomes a practicing doctor.

It's Grey's Anatomy. It's good too actually. Nice characters, storyline and all that jazz BUT it concentrates more on the surgeons/doctors/interns life. Love life, to be exact, instead of being all worried about a case. And they don't randomly blurt out bombastic names for diseases like how Mr. Laurie does.
House - the sexy rugged ol' man, on the other hand, is way, way more centralized on solving his patients' problem.
House is love. But not when Kai is ogling over Cameron. Or Cuddy, for that matter.
It IS 'Grey's'. The famous textbook IS called Gray's, true, and the series's name may be a play on that, but it doesn't reference it in any way.
It has to be said, though, you're an idiot for not falling in love with House sooner :)
